Limited Warranty
Nothing says peace-of-mind like a limited warranty. Buy a pre-owned vehicle at MEI and our limited warranty will protect you against an unforeseen major mechanical problem. It’s simple; stay current on your payments and service requirements, and with a low $100 deductible, you’ll be covered on the following items for the next twelve months or 18,000 miles.
Engine – all internally lubricated parts contained within the engine block or cylinder head (s), internal or external electrical control units to include engine and transmission control modules. The radiator, water/fuel/oil pumps, timing chain and gears or timing belt & tensioner, electronic steering motors and hydraulic power steering pumps, electric cooling fan motor, alternator assembly and the starter motor/solenoid assembly.
Drive Axels – all internally lubricated parts contained within the front and rear drive axle housing(s); including axles, bearings, driveshaft and u-joints. Housing(s), seals and gaskets are covered only if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated moving part.
Transmission – all internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission case or transfer case. Torque converter, vacuum modulator, internal or external electronic control units, overdrive units, internal shift fork, transmission cooling systems. All internally lubricated parts located within the final drive housing, axles and universal and constant velocity joints. Covers, pans, cases, seals, gaskets, and the final drive housing are covered only if damaged by the failure of an internally lubricated moving part.
Not Covered – any item not specifically listed, or which is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or recall is excluded from coverage under this limited warranty.
Manufacturer’s maintenance items – including oil, coolant, fluids, freon, filters, gaskets or seals.
Wearable items – including belts, hoses, tune-up parts, batteries, brakes, tires, shock absorbers, exhaust systems, suspension and steering parts, power windows, door locks, cruise control, stereos or lights.
Cosmetic items – including paint, upholstery, mirrors, door and window handles, body trim, door panel ornaments, wheels, sunroofs or headliners.
Damage or breakdown – if it is caused by failure to perform maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, or an accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, vandalism or theft.

We do require you to maintain your vehicle according to the manufacturer’s schedule, as well as bring your vehicle to our location for oil changes on us, every 3,000 miles or 3 months (whichever occurs first) for the first year of your term. Limited warranty work requires a $100 deductible paid upfront (just like your doctor’s office); We won’t leave you hanging. We’re there to help you get through any mechanical issues you might encounter.
